近百鄉親齊聚包粽慶端午
墨爾本台灣同鄉會共度溫馨佳節

台灣同鄉會今日於 Balwyn 長青中心熱鬧舉辦端午節特別活動，吸引近百位鄉親及朋友踴躍參加。大家齊聚一堂，共度溫馨歡樂的端午佳節，現場洋溢著濃厚的節慶氣氛與濃濃人情味。

The Taiwanese Association held a vibrant Dragon Boat Festival celebration at the Balwyn Senior Citizens Centre, attracting nearly one hundred members and friends from the community. Everyone gathered together to enjoy a warm and festive occasion, creating a wonderful atmosphere filled with the spirit of this cherished Taiwanese tradition.

本次活動特別邀請包粽經驗豐富的劉媽媽親臨指導，並由兩位班長 Emily 與 Sofia 協助示範傳統包粽技巧。從粽葉摺疊、餡料準備到綁繩定型，每一個步驟都細心講解與示範。由於報名十分踴躍，活動特別安排三個梯次進行教學，讓每位參與者都能親手體驗包粽子的樂趣，感受台灣傳統節慶文化的魅力。

A special highlight of the event was the Taiwanese-style rice dumpling (zongzi) workshop led by the experienced Mrs. Liu, with class leaders Emily and Sofia assisting in demonstrating traditional wrapping techniques. From folding bamboo leaves and preparing fillings to tying the finished dumplings, participants received step-by-step guidance and hands-on instruction. Due to the overwhelming response and strong attendance, the workshop was conducted in three separate sessions, ensuring that everyone had the opportunity to experience the joy of making zongzi and gain a deeper appreciation of this important cultural tradition.

除了享用自己親手完成的美味粽子之外，同鄉會也貼心準備了香氣四溢的肉羹、炒米粉及新鮮水果等豐盛餐點，讓鄉親們在歡聚交流之餘，也能品嚐熟悉的台灣家鄉味，勾起滿滿的思鄉情懷。

In addition to enjoying the rice dumplings they made themselves, participants were treated to a delicious selection of traditional Taiwanese dishes prepared by the Association, including pork thick soup, stir-fried rice noodles, and fresh fruit. The gathering provided a wonderful opportunity for everyone to reconnect with familiar Taiwanese flavours, share stories, and celebrate their cultural heritage together.

活動能夠順利圓滿完成，特別感謝所有志工夥伴的無私奉獻與辛勞付出，以及每位鄉親和朋友的熱情支持與參與。透過此次端午節活動，不僅增進了彼此間的情誼，也讓台灣傳統文化得以持續傳承與發揚。
