凝聚跨世代力量！
第34屆墨爾本台灣同鄉會會員大會順利舉行

第34屆墨爾本台灣同鄉會會員大會於8月1日順利舉行，當天共有一百多位鄉親會員出席，共同見證同鄉會發展的重要里程碑。

大會中除了順利通過會務報告及財務報告外，也完成第34屆理事選舉。新一屆理事會由第33屆8位尚未屆滿之理事，以及新選出的9位理事共同組成，為同鄉會注入新的活力與多元的力量。

第34屆理事會最大的特色，是由第一代台灣移民、第一點五代及第二代台灣後裔共同組成，其中以中生代會員占多數。他們不僅在澳洲社會各領域有所成就，也已充分融入澳洲主流社會。期盼透過他們的專業背景、社會經驗及人脈資源，進一步凝聚在澳洲的台灣社群，讓第一代、第一點五代、第二代，以及各個世代的年輕朋友，都能積極參與同鄉會的活動，共同延續台灣精神。

未來，同鄉會將持續規劃更多與澳洲主流社會接軌的活動，涵蓋學術教育、體育運動、社會科學、科技、生物醫學等不同領域，讓台灣的文化、人才與價值在澳洲社會中發揮更大的影響力。

同時，過去深受會員支持的各項活動，例如長青組、台客烹飪教室及各類文化交流活動，也將持續推動與發展，以服務不同年齡層的會員與鄉親，並促進世代之間的交流與連結。

在此，衷心感謝第33屆所有理事們過去一年的付出與奉獻，也恭喜第34屆全體理事就任。期盼新一屆理事會攜手合作，帶領墨爾本台灣同鄉會邁向新的階段，創造更寬廣的發展空間。

祝福中華民國台灣國運昌隆，也祝福墨爾本台灣同鄉會會務蒸蒸日上、永續發展。

The 34th Annual General Meeting of the Taiwanese Association of Australia – Melbourne Chapter was successfully held on 1 August, with more than 100 members and guests attending this significant milestone.

During the AGM, members approved the annual activity report and financial report, and completed the election of the 34th Board of Directors. The new Board comprises 8 continuing directors from the 33rd Board and 9 newly elected directors, bringing together fresh energy, diverse perspectives, and valuable experience.

A key feature of the new Board is its strong representation across generations, including first-generation Taiwanese Australians, 1.5-generation members, and second-generation Taiwanese Australians, with the majority coming from the middle generation. Many have achieved success in various professional fields and are actively contributing to Australian society.

Through their expertise, community connections, and diverse backgrounds, the Association aims to further strengthen the Taiwanese community in Australia and encourage greater participation from members of all generations.

The Association will continue to develop activities that build connections between Taiwan and mainstream Australian society, including education, sports, social sciences, technology, cultural exchange, and other areas. At the same time, popular programs such as the Seniors Group, Taiwanese cooking classes, and community activities will continue to serve and engage our members.

I sincerely thank all members of the 33rd Board for their dedication and contributions, and congratulate the newly appointed 34th Board. Together, we look forward to leading the Association into a new chapter of growth and development.
