台澳情誼更緊密：墨爾本台灣同鄉會返國拜會 蕭美琴副總統　互贈禮物、共享溫馨交流

作為此次訪問台灣行程的一部分，我們有幸前往總統府拜會副總統蕭美琴女士。能夠與副總統合影留念、互贈禮物，並在溫馨而誠摯的氛圍中進行親切交流，我們深感榮幸與感動。

為表達我們由衷的感謝之意，我們特別致贈蕭副總統一支具有象徵意義的板球球棒。板球是澳洲極具代表性的運動之一，這支球棒象徵力量、韌性、團隊合作與公平精神——正如台澳之間日益深化的雙邊關係，建立在共享民主價值之上，並發展出值得信賴的夥伴關係。

蕭副總統也回贈每一位團員具有台灣特色的精美紀念品，讓我們倍感溫暖與珍惜。

As part of our visit to Taiwan, we were truly honoured to visit the Presidential Office and meet Vice President Hsiao Bi-khim. It was a genuine privilege to have the opportunity to take photos together, exchange gifts, and share such warm and sincere conversation in a very welcoming setting.

To show our sincere appreciation, we presented Vice President Hsiao with a specially symbolic cricket bat. Cricket is one of Australia’s most iconic sports, and the bat represents strength, resilience, teamwork, and fairness — values that also reflect the growing relationship between Taiwan and Australia, grounded in shared democratic principles and a trusted partnership.

Vice President Hsiao kindly returned the gesture by presenting each member of our delegation with a beautiful souvenir that reflects Taiwan’s unique culture, which we deeply appreciate and will always remember.

We have completed a meaningful and worthwhile trip, and we sincerely wish Taiwan continued peace, prosperity, and longevity.
